A writer on a trajectory to becoming the (fingers crossed) best-selling author of her memoir, Tall: A Memoir of Growing, Sonya’s work has been published in The Hockey News, Women’s Health, Albuquerque The Magazine, East Mountain Living, and various other publications.
She earned her B.A. in psychology and completed graduate coursework in cultural anthropology before becoming certified as a fitness technician. You may spot her as an extra in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Night Shift, and other TV shows. She is also a retired USA Hockey ice hockey official.
Sonya lives in Minneapolis with her husband and four air-purifying plants.
